MSR Holler Tent Lightweight Set-up Method Video

Transcript

To protect the tent floor when camping on rough ground, an optional tent footprint can be used. To save weight when hiking, the Holler can be set up with just the rain fly and the optional footprint. Lay down the footprint with the MSR logo facing up. Stake out the four corners and the two mid-points. Insert the pole tips of the hubbed pole into the eyelets of the corners of the footprint and then erect the gray cross pole under it. Lay the rain fly over the poles and secure it in place by connecting the side release buckles. To complete this lightweight set up, it is a good idea to steak out the guy ropes and the vestibules to add support to the tent’s structure. Secure the rain fly to the poles with Velcro tabs located throughout the tent.
