New for 2013! Lightweight, durable construction with a design concept that is neither heavy and over built nor too minimal for rocky, root covered terrain, the Vasque Men’s Pendulum trail running shoe offers swift, yet supportive, agile performance.
Like a more minimally minded trail shoe, the Pendulum sets the foot close to the ground and optimally positioned for natural forefoot strike. At the same time, the Pendulum can offer support and flexibility due to the Waveform S/C midsole and TPU plate. This combination works to protect the bottom of the foot from stones and rocks. The Immerse 360 last offers a slightly asymmetrical shape, which places the foot in a powerful position and accommodates those with higher arches. A narrow heel pocket securely anchors the foot and helps to reduce excessive movement within the shoe. Vasque Visualizer outsole uses low-profile, yet aggressive, traction to help maximize mileage over rocks, roots and mud.
An upper built from Airmesh and PU synthetic increase both durability and breathability. This seamless, bonded upper also minimizes hotspots and fits snugly and flush against the foot for improved fit and comfort. With a 19mm heel and 13mm forefoot, the Pendulum has 6mm of drop.
