Velocity snowshoes utilize the Tubbs Aerobic Binding System and a fully-fixed toe cord. Together these features effectively position and hold the snowshoe closely to your foot, maintaining an efficient and natural stride over packed snow. The adjustable Aerobic Binding System is gender-neutral and allows you to wear performance running and cross-training footwear in place of stiff and heavy boots. Dual high-performance carbon steel toe crampons offer maximum traction while additional rear crampons provide a secure heel strike.
The tapered frame of each Velocity snowshoe is constructed of lightweight, durable 6000 series aluminum. The streamlined taper of Velocity snowshoes ensures a natural, uninterrupted stride and delivers efficient maneuverability. The triple-layer coated TriTec Decking fabric is extremely durable and provides excellent flotation while keeping weight to a minimum. NOTE: A minimum base of 6"-8" of snow is suggested for usage in order to properly protect the integrity of the decking material.
