Tubbs was the first manufacturer to offer snowshoes designed specifically for women, introducing women's specific bindings in 1998. Anatomic and ergonomic adjustments are made to each binding to provide the female snowshoe enthusiast with the fit, comfort and performance she deserves. Accounting for the fact that, on average, women have a shorter walking stride than men, Tubbs has tapered the tail on women's specific models to be narrower than the tails found on men's snowshoes, allowing the user to maintain a more natural stride.

The FLEX NRG 22 Women’s molded Torsion Deck increases articulation throughout the body of the shoe, allowing it to truly flex with your stride to enhance both traction and maneuverability. The use of "cutaways" and thinner material at either end of the shoes keeps weight to a minimum while maintaining flotation. The unique Tubbs FLEX Tail absorbs the shock of heel strikes, reducing stress on your joints and further enabling you to maintain a natural, comfortable stride. Asymmetric 180FLEX bindings provide maximum support for your boot, securely locking the heel in place. A patent pending Soft Strike Zone directly beneath the heel of the binding offers further shock absorption and delivers increase traction. The base is fully adjustable to accommodate varying footwear ranging from Women’s sizes 5-11.

FLEX NRG 22 Women's snowshoes are outfitted with carbon steel toe crampons and micro-serrated 3D curved Traction Rails. Snow Brakes on the deck and beneath the Soft Strike Zone help to prevent slipping and provide confident downhill traction.

Sold in pairs, Tubbs FLEX NRG 22 Women’s snowshoes are suitable for all weights in packed snow. NOTE: In powdery conditions FLEX NRG 22 Women’s shoes are best used for a maximum weight of 165 lbs (includes gear and user).
