Updated for 2009! Lightweight and compact, the Therm-a-Rest Women’s Prolite is a durable, versatile 3-season self inflating sleeping pad. Catering to female backpackers, this women’s specific mattress has added insulation at the feet and in the torso. A redesign has made the Women’s ProLite even more lightweight and compact than its forebearer, the classic Women’s ProLite 3.
The Women’s ProLite incorporates cutting-edge foams and fabrics, as well as innovative die cutting to keep weight and packed size to a minimum. Interior foam provides an inch thick layer of cushioned support. Lightweight, textured 70D diamond ripstop polyester gives the top of the Women’s ProLite a soft, low-slip sleeping surface. Underneath, the Women’s ProLite is protected by durable 70D nylon with a textured "grip dot" surface.
A self inflating design allows you to simply unroll the Women’s ProLite and open the integrated air valve. The pad’s open-celled foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the Women’s ProLite has inflated, you can adjust the firmness by adding a few puffs of air or pressing down lightly on the pad to release air.
The Therm-a-Rest Women’s ProLite measures 20" x 66" and weighs just 1 lb 1 oz. NOTE: The custom-fit Women’s ProLite Stuff Sack is sold separately.
