Updated for 2009! Designed for 4-season usage, the Prolite Plus sleeping pad is the warmest self-inflating backpacking mattress in the Therm-a-Rest line. A redesign of the classic ProLite 4, the ProLite Plus is now 20% warmer than before.

The ProLite Plus incorporates cutting-edge foams and fabrics, as well as innovative die-cutting to keep weight and packed size to a minimum. Interior foam provides a full inch-and-a-half of cushioned support. Lightweight, textured 70D diamond ripstop polyester gives the top of the ProLite Plus a soft, low-slip sleeping surface. Underneath, the ProLite Plus is protected by durable 70D nylon with a textured "grip dot" surface.

A self inflating design allows you to simply unroll the ProLite Plus and open the integrated air valve. The pad’s open-celled foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the ProLite Plus has inflated, you can adjust the firmness by adding a few puffs of air or pressing down lightly on the pad to release air.

The Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus is available in Small (20" x 47"), Reg (20" x 72") and Large (25" x 77") size options. NOTE: The custom-fit ProLite Plus Stuff Sack is sold separately.

Likes: Good thickness for comfort, rolls up tightly for good fit in backpacking equipment, good quality material, good grip on bottom surface to not slide around, inflates fast and can be over-inflated for a nice, firm rest.

Dislikes: A little on the expensive side

Likes: Escellnt sleeping pad. Provided ample support and comfort.

Dislikes: top is a little slick. If tent is on a sllight pitch, you might end up sliding during the night.
