Product Highlights

An innovative upgrade to the classic Therm-a-Rest LuxuryCamp mattress, the Luxury Map utilizes pressure mapping technology and strategic die-cutting to provide supportive cushioning where it's needed most and reduce foam density in high-pressure areas. The end result is an incredibly comfortable night of sleep.

A self inflating design allows you to simply unroll the Luxury Map and open the integrated air valve, eliminating the need for an air pump. The pad's open-celled foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the Luxury Map has inflated, you can achieve the full 3" thickness by adding a few puffs of air or fine-tune the density by pressing down lightly on the pad to release air. A stretch-knit top wicks moisture and provides a soft sleeping surface.

The Therm-a-Rest Luxury Map mattress is available in Reg (20" x 72"), Large (25" x 77") and XL (30" x 77") sizes. A stuff sack is included.

Likes: After searching for a decent sleeping pad with great comfort/size/warmth, I came across this one. After sleeping on it a couple of nights, it held up great-no leaks-comfy n warm throughout the night. I plan to use this for backpacking also despite the weight but with 3 inches of thickness/warmth, to me its worth it to sacrifice a little extra weight for a good nights sleep. Im 5'11 and 180lbs, the Large fits perfect as I tried a regular and my shoulder were almost falling off the edges. This is my second purchase, so now I have 1 for car camping and Backpacking now..

    Dislikes: nothing

Likes: It's like sleeping on a comfortable bed. Love it.

  • Matt M. Springville UT

Likes: Very comfortable, and plenty of support. Rolls up pretty tightly and expands on its own quickly. Textures on both sides minimize tent floor/bag slipping. The top is soft as well, so you can lay on it directly and it is comfortable. I like that it does _not_ have a built in pillow unlike some other vendor's products.

    Dislikes: No patch kit included.

  • Phillip R. Erie PA

Likes: I never would have believed that sleeping on the ground or floor was going to be this comfortable. This pad rolls up to a very compact size. Your catalog has so many choices. I, once again, was glad that Liz was able to help me select the right sleeping pad for my needs.

Dislikes: If weight and size are not a factor, I would opt for the wider size which would allow you more room to spread out. I'm 5' 8" and weigh about 160 lbs. and move around when I sleep.

Dislikes: a little heavy, but still, a great mattress!
