An impressive balance of weight and durability, the Terra Nova Laser Photon 2 double-wall tent weighs less than 2 pounds and packs down to 15.8" x 4.7". The combination of reliable protection and the space-and-weight saving design makes the Laser Photon 2 a great option for thru-hiking, lightweight backpacking, adventure racing and bicycle or motorcycle touring.
Measuring 90.6" x 41.3" with an internal peak height of 37.4", the Laser Photon 2 tent provides just enough room for two but can serve as a roomy solo shelter. The 7.55mm Scandium Alloy poles delivers reliable structure at minimal weight and the unique architecture provides a sturdy pitch and creates a streamlined vestibule in front of the large side door.
The floor and fly of the Laser Photon 2 are constructed of lightweight, high-tenacity Sil-Nylon Ripstop fabric. Mesh vents in the door and at both the head and foot of the tent enhance breathability. All seams are tape-sealed to further protect the Laser Photon 1 from the elements. A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) further protects the floor of the Laser Photon 2 from mud, ground water and sharp objects such as rocks and pine needles.
The Terra Nova Laser Photon 2 tent includes a stuff sack and twelve titanium stakes. NOTE: For pitching in rocky terrain or hard soil, consider upgrading to heavier stakes (sold separately).
