By combining GPS readings with an accelerometer, the Ambit provides you with precise speed and pace reports even if the GPS signal is temporarily lost. The Ambit also serves as a reliable digital compass with integrated declination adjustment to allow you to correct for differences between true North and magnetic north. You can set it to track a certain bearing.
The Ambit also houses a fully-featured sports watch with multiple functions, sunrise/sunset times for over 400 locations worldwide, a countdown timer, a chronograph, a barometer and a thermometer. Basically, the Ambit delivers all the pertinent information you need, at a glance, to maximize performance in the outdoors.
Menu settings on the Ambit can be changed to accommodate English, German, French or Spanish. A user-replaceable battery is included and a low battery warning alerts you when a new battery is needed.
