Product Highlights

The Snow Peak Trek 1400 Titanium is the perfect ultra-light cooking set for hikers looking for a mid size pot and fry pan. The set consists of a 47 oz. (1.5 quart) pot and a 17 oz. (0.5 quart) lid/fry pan.

The pot has a measuring scale stamped on the inside (no need to carry an extra measuring cup). The V-shaped folding handles, make the pot easier to handle. The pot is designed to allow the larger 13.1 oz. Snow Peak fuel canister to nest inside, along with a GigaPower stove in its case. The fry pan handle folds back over the bottom of the pan, making for a compact and packable unit.

The set is made of titanium. Titanium is an advanced, lightweight metal that is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel and more heat resistant than aluminum.

A nylon mesh stuff sack is included. The set weighs in at only 7.4 oz.

Likes: It does exactly what it is supposed to do... lightweight container for cooking. It does this very well. Great size for meals for two or one and can hold my whisperlight inside (in a fuel-proof bag of course)with room for some other items. Sets on stove well (not too thin) and has a large enough base to catch all of the burner.

Dislikes: Lid could fit a *little* more snugly. Not too much, or you would spill everything getting it opened.

Likes: i have few titanium folders, but never had titanium pots before. this seems rather nice. boils water just fine. haven't cooked in it yet. it attracts fingerprints, but i don't think that's much of problem. i'm cooking with it and not using it for mirror. my old Whisperlight fits into the pot which is nice.

Dislikes: the lid handle rattles a bit. won't be much of a problem. i'll be using few rubber band to hold it while backpacking.

Likes: 6.7 ounces without the bag, 7.1 with the bag,on a certified scale.

Dislikes: It would've got 5 stars except, the bag is noticably bigger than it needs to be, and the pan doesn't snap together with the pot.

Likes: The weight was great for the size of pot & pan. Gives more options on what food items to take with you on a backpacking trip, but staying light as well.

    Dislikes: nothing to mention

Likes: nice size, big enough to hold my stove and fuel plus spork and pot holder.

Dislikes: wish the top (frying pan) would snap on together.

Likes: Super light and non-stick. Fits my needs for Bike touring very well. Pot is plenty big for just me, probably good for two people. The lid/pan fits good enough to increase boiling efficiency and is a good size to fry an egg in.

Dislikes: The handles could be much better. make sure you squeeze the lid/pan handle firmly or risk loosing your meal. It happened to me once hopefully wont again.
