With 10,000 BTU of output, this little power house will boil water in 3.5 minutes. The flame is easily controlled with the glove friendly control lever to produce a slow simmer, a rolling boil or anything in between.

Comes with a polyethylene carrying case.

Likes: I've used an MSR Pocket Rocket a number of times but the support for my Snow Peak Trek Titanium 700 was always a little wobbly. I like the four post design of this model, and the built-in igniter is a definite bonus.

    Dislikes: Nothing.

Likes: A great little stove, durable, and works well. I choose this over the MSR pocket rocket mainly because it has four stands as compared to three. Also for $10 more you get the auto ignite feature, while this may not be totally practical it is nice having just in case you don't have matches or a lighter.

    Dislikes: Nothing yet.

Likes: The Snow peak Giga Power had all the features I wanted in a backpacking stove. We had no problem boiling water once the stove got started and it performed very efficiently.

Dislikes: The autostart did not work well with the wind sheild in place and had to adjust the igniter to get it to function. Seemed sensitive to any small movement.
