New for 2013! The Sierra Designs Zilla 3 three-season tent is an ideal choice for backpackers on a budget. The Zilla 3 is easy to pitch and very well ventilated. Two doors and two vestibules offer plenty of space for sleeping and storage.
With a minimum weight of 5 lbs 10 oz. and an interior volume of 53 square feet, the Zilla 3 provides a respectable space to weight ratio. Two 8.75 square foot vestibules provide additional exterior space for stowing gear and muddy boots. The combination of sidewall vents and mesh fabric used on the tent body provides excellent ventilation for combating condensation build-up and keeping you cool during warm weather. Internal storage pockets and gear-loft loops create out of the way space for stowing small items like a headlamp or trail maps.
The Sierra Designs Zilla 3 uses color coded clip construction that eliminates the hassle of feeding poles through cumbersome tent sleeves. Just slide the shock-corded pole sections together and attach the clips. The freestanding design of the Zilla 3 allows you to pitch the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock.
An optional footprint (sold separately) further protects the Sierra Designs Zilla 3 against ground water, roots and rocks.

The Sierra Designs Coffee Sling hangs from the tent's gear loft loop so beverages can't be spilled. Sold in pairs, each Coffee Sling can hold as much as a 32 ounce. insulated mug or a one liter bottle.
