The freestanding Sierra Designs Zia 2 is a tent uses Sierra Designs efficient Stretch Dome design, dual doors and twin vestibules to create maximum livability for 3-season backpackers or campers. A free footprint adds greater value and protection.
The Zia 2 has 30 square feet of interior space. A large front vestibule offers 8 square feet of exterior shelter while a rear vestibule provides an additional 6 square feet! Hanging, interior pockets help you free up floor space and stows loose items for quick access.
DAC Pressfit aluminum poles grant the Zia 2 lightweight, freestanding support and stability. A unique Swivel Hub design increases the verticality of the Zia 2's sidewalls and, as a result, improves the feeling of livability within the tent. Sierra Design SwiftClips attach the tent body to the poles smoothly and Ball Cap Connectors eliminate the struggle to get pole ends into a grommet. Reflective guy lines and door trim help to further secure the Zia 2 and provide visibility when returning to your tent after dark.
The Zia 2's SuperSeal Floor has a raised, taped perimeter that maintains a tight pitch and guarantees waterproof protection. Environmentally-friendly PVC-free seam tape protects the interior of the Zia 2 from moisture and precipitation. An awning design of the fully taped fly lets you enter the tent without the rain coming in during bad weather.
A custom-fit footprint (included) further protects the floor of your Zia 2 from mud, ground water and sharp objects such as rocks and pine needles.
