New for 2009! Utilizing an innovative architecture and breathable materials, the Sierra Designs Wu Hu Annex 6+2 is a feature-rich camping tent that delivers capacity for up to 8. An integrated annex equips the Wu Hu Annex 6+2 with two full rooms with privacy options.
Over 136 total square feet of interior space provides all the room necessary to comfortably sleep up to 6 campers. Dual vestibules serve as dry entry points to the interior of the tent and offer a combined 37 square feet of additional sheltered space for storing gear outside of the main tent body. The large front room and smaller annex are separated by a zippered privacy panel that can be thrown open when you’d prefer to convert the Wu Hu Annex 6+2 to one large room.
Offering sturdy, freestanding support, DAC 17 aluminum poles attach to the body of the Wu Hu 6+2 via a combination of clips and sleeves. Color-coded construction and integrated clips make it easy to set up the tent and the sleeves add rigid structure. Reflective guy lines help to further secure the Wu Hu 6+2 and provide visibility when returning to your tent after dark. The large doors provide easy access to the interior of the tent and can remain open to provide maximum cross ventilation in balmy weather.
A dye-free optic white canopy makes the interior of the Wu Hu 6+2 more livable by transmitting natural light more effectively. This feature really shines on long, rainy days spent inside the shelter of your tent. Environmentally-friendly PVC-free seam tape protects the interior of the Wu Hu 6+2 from moisture and precipitation. A compatible, custom-fit footprint, sold separately, can be used to further protect the floor of the Wu Hu 6+2 from sharp objects, mud and ground water.

Likes: This tent is HUGE! That's exactly what my friend and I were lookin' for. To be honest, we've only set it up one time (for our test run). The color coded poles are a nice touch and help avoid confusion. It went up pretty quickly (considering its size) and I'm eager to put it to the real test on our New Year's Eve Geocaching Campout.
Dislikes: My first impressions are good but if you have a storage net on ONE side of the 'master suite' you should have one one the OTHER side. Otherwise, one os us will have a place to put our stuff and the other of us...is out of luck.

Likes: We are very pleased with the Wu Hu Annex 6+2 tent. Our family of four (plus the dog) relish the room that allows all of us to have a sense of space. The kids (plus the dog) have plenty of room in the front annex, while my wife and I can zip up the partition and have some semblance of privacy. We each have our own exit and none disturbs the other during the night. The front annex is great for the dog as she can watch us and remain calm when we can't watch her every second. The tent setup is easy enough that my 10 year old son and I breeze through without discussion. I would highly recommend this tent for family camping.
Dislikes: The tent should come with its own attic accessory, as it lacks overhead storage, though there is a lot of floor space and many side side pockets.

Likes: spacious. easy set-up. strong. well ventilated. well protected from weather. vents for breathability.
Dislikes: hard to pack up. stuff sack should be a bit bigger. nobody's going to lug the tent by backpack, so no need to have stuff sack so small. helpful if it had clips or rope clips high on inside to run a rope or hang stuff.
