Product Highlights
Updated for 2008! Weighing less than 2 lbs. and packing down to 6" x 16", the Sierra Designs Wicked Light 45 Degree down sleeping bag is perfect for ultra-light warm-weather backpacking. A semi-rectangular shape eliminates the cramped restriction of mummy bags and a full-length, separating zipper allows the Wicked Light 45 Degree to be used as a blanket.
The Wicked Light 45 Degree bag is insulated with 800-Fill goose down. Down not only has a soft, comfortable feel, it also has the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The feathers and fibers are renowned for their efficiency in trapping body heat and are very easily compressed, taking up less space in your backpack. NOTE: The one weakness of down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet.
Continuous baffle construction increases the effective life expectancy of the Wicked Light 45 Degree by making certain that the down fill remains distributed evenly throughout the bag, insulating your entire body without risk of cold spots from a lack of fill. Internal tuck stitching reduces wear and tear by eliminating any external seams that might easily snag and tear.
Removable pad locks are built into the Wicked Fast to keep you from rolling off of your sleeping pad while you sleep. Sierra Designs' innovative snag-free zipper tracks protect the liner by creating a barrier which prevents stuck zippers. The Wicked Light 45 Degree doesn't have a traditional hood, but an integrated draw-cord closure at the collar allows you to pull the bag close on cool evenings to prevent cold air from reaching the interior of the bag.
The Sierra Designs Wicked Light 45 Degree sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6'0") and Long (fits up to 6'6") lengths. A stuff sack is included.
