New for 2009! The freestanding Sierra Designs Vapor Light 2 packs down to just 20" x 5.5" and weighs just 3 lb 4 oz, making it an ideal choice for backpacking. Despite its lightweight construction, the Vapor Light 2 utilizes an innovative pole configuration to maximize livability.

The Vapor Light 2's streamlined 25.5 sq. ft. of interior space sufficiently houses two backpackers. With its light packed weight, the Vapor Light 2 can also serve as a roomy solo shelter. Sewn-in pockets serve as interior gear hideaways and a small vestibule provides additional sheltered storage space outside of the main tent body.

DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles provide the Vapor Light 2 with lightweight freestanding support and stability. A unique Spider Hub design and Ball Cap connection points combine to increase the verticality of the Vapor Light’s sidewalls and, as a result, improve the feeling of livability within the tent. Sturdy, streamlined Ultralight Clips help to keep trail weight to a minimum. Reflective guy lines help to further secure the Vapor Light 2 and provide visibility when returning to your tent after dark.

The Vapor Light 2’s SuperSeal Floor has a raised, taped perimeter that maintains a tight pitch and guarantees waterproof protection. Environmentally-friendly PVC-free seam tape protects the interior of the Vapor Light 2 from moisture and precipitation. A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) is available to further protect the floor of your Vapor Light 2 from mud, ground water and sharp objects such as rocks and pine needles.
