Product Highlights
Updated for 2008! A perfect combination of performance and affordability, the Sierra Designs Rosa 20 Degree Women's synthetic sleeping bag is a perennial best-seller. Durable and warm, the women's specific Rosa 20 Degree Women's bag is truly a bargain.
Having developed the first women-specific sleeping bags back in 1995, Sierra Designs early on realized the differences between male and female campers and hikers. By offering sleeping bags that are tapered to be narrower at the shoulders, wider at the hips and adjusted for height differences, Sierra Designs has created a line of bags that cater to women. Increased insulation in the torso and foot box regions also reflects the results of research into what women want and need in a sleeping bag.
The Rosa 20 Degree Women's sleeping bag is insulated with high-end Climashield HL synthetic fill. Unlike down fill, the machine washable and fast-drying Climashield HL insulation is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet climates.
An ergonomic hood with a drawstring cinch and ergonomically-shaped foot box add to the Rosa 20 Degree Women's compact silhouette and aid in insulation. The foot box of the Rosa 20 Degree Women's bag is lined with Tricot. Not found on Sierra Designs men's sleeping bags, this fleece lining adds warmth and helps to prevent cold feet. A fully-insulated draft tube sewn behind the zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag.
Full of features, the Rosa 20 Degree Women's bag has a built-in pillow pocket inside the hood of the sleeping bag, a zippered valuables pocket and integrated pad locks to keep you from rolling off of your sleeping pad while you sleep. Sierra Designs' innovative snag-free zipper tracks protect the liner by creating a barrier which prevents stuck zippers.
The Sierra Designs Rosa 20 Degree Women's sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 5'5") and Long (fits up to 5'11") lengths. A stuff sack is included.
