A unique single-wall hybrid backpacking tent, the lightweight Sierra Designs Mojo 2 delivers full weather protection without the bulk and weight of a detachable rainfly. An innovative "winged" design maximizes airflow to avoid the condensation that occurs in many traditional single wall tents.
The Mojo 2 has a streamlined 26.5 square feet of interior space which makes it suitable for two. Because the Mojo weighs just 2 pounds, 11 ounces and packs down to 17.5" x 5" it can also serve as a roomy solo shelter. A front vestibule offers 16.7 square feet of exterior shelter for wet boots and packs. A hanging, interior pocket helps to free up floor space by giving you a place to stow smaller items like a headlamp.
Two hubbed DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles and hardware that allows the pole tips to lock securely in place grant the Mojo 2 lightweight freestanding support and stability. Reflective guylines and guy out points provide nighttime visibility and allow you to further stabilize the pitch of the Mojo 2.
The Mojo 2's Superseal Floor has a raised, taped perimeter that maintains a tight pitch and guarantees waterproof protection. Environmentally-friendly PVC-free seam tape protects the interior of the Mojo 2 from moisture and precipitation as do the protective side "wings". By staking the "wings" away from the tent body, you can enhance ventilation and improve livability.
A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) is available to further protect the floor of the Mojo 2 from mud, ground water and sharp objects such as rocks and roots.
