Updated for 2008! The Sierra Designs Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's is an ideal warm-weather sleeping bag for boys up to 5' 0" tall. With its synthetic fill, the 2 lb. 4 oz. Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's bag is warm and comfortableand, thanks to an integrated mesh stuff sack, it's easy to transport, carry and store.

The Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's bag is insulated with HeatSync synthetic fill. Unlike down fill, the machine washable and fast-drying HeatSync insulation is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet climates.

Full of features, the Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's bag has a built-in pillow pocket inside the hood of the sleeping bag, a zippered valuables pocket stitched into the front of the bag and integrated pad locks to keep you from rolling off of your sleeping pad while you sleep. A comfortable and lightweight Sleep E-Z Pillow comes included. Sierra Designs' innovative snag-free zipper tracks protect the liner by creating a barrier which prevents stuck zippers. The inside of the Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's bag has a fun typographical map-pattern lining.

An ergonomic hood with a drawstring cinch and ergonomically-shaped foot box add to the Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's compact silhouette and aid in insulation. An additional, large pocket inside the sleeping bag provides an ideal location for warming clothes, so you can avoid shivering in the morning after emerging from the bag and slipping into chilly layers. The foot box of the Big Dog 40 Degree Boy's bag is lined with Tricot. This fleece lining adds warmth and helps to prevent cold feet. A fully-insulated draft tube sewn behind the zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag.
