The Crest Women's snowshoe is available in two sizes. Measuring 8" x 21", the Crest Women's-21 inch snowshoe is suitable for a total weight (user and gear) of 80-150 pounds and the 25 inch size (8" x 25" per shoe) supports a total weight of 120-200 pounds.
Double ratchet straps lend security and adjustability to the binding of the Crest Women's snowshoe. A nylon heel strap provides further support and enhances fit. Full adjustability allows the Crest Women's snowshoe to accommodate a wide range of styles and sizes of footwear.
A rotating toe cord system enables the tail of the Crest Women's snowshoe to drop away from the binding as you hike, effectively shedding snow, reducing resistance and minimizing the fatigue associated with carrying the unnecessary weight of clinging snow.
Constructed of durable 6000 series aluminum, the frame of the Crest Women's snowshoe is tapered to enhance balance, provide flotation and maintain a natural stride pattern. The carbon steel toe crampon and a built-in heel cleat combine to deliver solid traction on rolling terrain and descents. Durable material on the decking further improves flotation. NOTE: A minimum base of 6"-8" of snow is suggested for usage in order to properly protect the integrity of the decking material.
