Product Highlights

The BPA-free Platy SoftBottle is a lightweight, flexible, packable alternative to standard hard-sided bottles. The surprisingly durable bottle keeps contents secure and is so collapsible that you can stash it wherever is most convenient and, when empty, roll it up completely to take up as little space as possible in your pack, luggage or bag.

A contoured shape makes the ergonomic Platy SoftBottle fit comfortably in your hand. A "flat" bottom allows the bottle to stand freely when filled. The BPA-free material is taste-free and can even be frozen and unfrozen repeatedly.

The Platy SoftBottle is available in a wide array of colors, sizes and cap options. The Closure Cap option offers a secure screw on/off design. The Push-Pull Cap provides simple drink-through access and the innovative HyperFlow Cap goes a step further by utilizing the same integrated "bite valve" design used on Platypus hydration systems. The threading at the top of all bottle sizes and colors is identical and you can purchase any of the caps separately to equip the Platy SoftBottle for different uses.

Likes: I love the .5 Liter bottles for mixing up trail drinks. These bottles weigh less than an ounce and take up very little space when not in use.

I also use one as an alcohol bottle for my stove. It holds twice as much fuel as the average plastic bottles most often used, but weigh less. I make sure I mark this one with a Sharpie for obvious reasons.

Dislikes: They are a little pricey for a bottle, and there is always the risk of puncturing them. Haven't had this problem yet though.

Likes: Purchased this to carry wine on short overnight treks. I like the fact that I could order a different color, and also that it came with the option of the screw on cap to prevent leaking.

Dislikes: No easy way to fill without a funnel.

Likes: Its small and rolls up tight. Saves a little extra space in my pack.

Dislikes: Nothing really. If I was nit picking I might say the cap is hard to pull up.
