Product Highlights

The BPA-free Platypus Platy PlusBottle is a grip-friendly, free-standing version of the now classic Platy Bottle. Catering to backpackers, kayakers and other ounce-counting outdoor enthusiasts, the flexible, packable design of the Platy PlusBottle makes it a lightweight alternative to standard hard-sided bottles.

Building on the innovative design features of the original Platy Bottle, the Platy PlusBottle incorporates a tapered mid-section and an integrated grab/hang loop that makes it even more convenient for drinking and stashing in or lashing to your backpack. A SlimeGuard antimicrobial treatment ensures that water remains fresh and taste-free.

The Platypus Platy PlusBottle comes in your choice of caps and integrates with many other Platypus accessories (sold separately).

If you don't have this bottle, buy one. You never know when you'll need water on the trail and due to the packability of this product, you can stash it just about anywhere.

    5/16/2011

Likes: Very efficient. It's only as large or heavy as the liquid you have in it. Seems durable so far.

Dislikes: If totally filled, with one little squeeze, the liquid comes spilling out. Not really a problem after you experience it once. You just fill short of the top the next time.

Likes: These bottles are great for multipurpose use for holding & storing water. The handle is robust for clipping off and the are extremely durable.

  • Daniel B. Colorado Springs CO

Dislikes: Hard to dry with the small opening.
