The ground-breaking Hollow Fiber Technology used by the GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Kit enables it to efficiently and effectively filter 1.5 liters in just one minute! Simply fill the 2.0L reservoir marked "dirty", suspend it from a branch using the reinforced handles and allow gravity to filter the water into the “clean” BPA-free 2.0L Platy Bottle (included). The GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Kit’s “dirty” reservoir has a quick-release fitting that allows it to work directly with most hydration systems (sold separately).
The 0.2 Micron cartridge exceeds EPA guidelines and is completely field maintainable and long lasting, effectively filtering up to 1,500 liters of water (depending on water quality) before needing replaced! The GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Kit can be backflushed in seconds to clear the filter of debris and the streamlined, lightweight filter housing is durable and saves on weight and space.
NOTE: The Platypus GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Kit is effective against protozoa, bacteria and particulates. It is NOT effective against viruses.
The Platypus GravityWorks 2.0L Complete Kit consists of a 2.0L “dirty” collection reservoir with a quick-release fitting, a 2.0L Platy Bottle with Push-Pull Cap, a GravityWorks Filter Cartridge, hoses, a Push-Pull Cap Adapter, a Universal Bottle Adapter and a stuff sack.
