Likes: This is one of the best purchases I've ever made for light. I use it for everything- hooking up components for my stereo with all the cords in the back, looking under the car seats, even sewing a tent seam in the dark! The settings are FANTASTIC. You can set it on a high narrow beam and point it at some noise in the dark in the forest (I've seen yellow eyes peering back), or you can have a shorter range broad light which is great for the impromptu get up and out of the tent in the middle of the night. Easy to put on, stays in place, doesn't bother your partner whether you are leaving the tent or reading a book- there are settings for each.
Dislikes: Absolutely nothing.

Likes: I bought this to replace my old Photon headlamp that had a wore out elastic band and slid all around my head.
It's got everything I need; a nice, bright beam, a red beam for low-light situations, and is much lighter than the Photon.
I was a little hesitant getting a headlamp without a strap across the top, but this has fit well and stayed in place no matter what I'm doing.

Likes: Comfortable fit and the adjustable settings are good, including the low one. The real feature though is having a red light -- unobtrusive and easy on other people's eyes. Overall, good value.
Dislikes: Why does it use batteries? Why can't it just glean energy from the universe's cosmic vibrations?

Likes: This is a well-design headlamp, I especially love the red light, which is very useful in camping place at dark night. Beside, the light is very bright, just don't know how long it would last in bad weather...
Dislikes: not yet.

Likes: Very light weight and bright light. I love that you can have a very direct light and a broad light just by flipping the light shield. Really 2 lights in one. Highly recommended!

Likes: Bright light of useful wavelength, unlike some that look bright, but don't allow you to see far.
Good battery life. Comfortable strap.
Great lightweight package for the money.
Dislikes: I would prefer that the low battery indicator is more clear. It flashes rather than stays on, so I missed the fact that the batteries were low, until the lED actually dimmed.

Likes: I had another brand of headlamp which I thought was too heavy and very uncomfortable. In fact, I carried it in my hand rather than put it on my head! The Petzl Tikka XP 2 is great! The fact that it is not heavy and very comfortable is a plus!
Dislikes: There isn't anything bad about it for me.

Likes: These are really impressive lights. I bought one for myself, then a couple more for my 2 scout sons.
Dislikes: (1) I bought the light storage pouch separately to avoid losing the light. I would have liked it better if they pouch/light would have come as a set.
(2) Maybe it was me, but I had a hard time keeping all of the various models straight when I shopped for these. A clearer model number/naming convention would have helped.

Likes: The red light option came in perfect when I was out collecting data on the woodhouse toad so I can see them without scaring them away. I also loved the multiple brightness options.
Dislikes: The economy light is a little too dim when the wide angle feature is being used but it is still a good feature

Likes: Great lamp, exceptionally bright with lots of thoughtful functions and a compact design.
Dislikes: I would rather pay slightly more and have a case that comes with the lamp. They are available but you have to hunt for them on line.

Likes: Best headlamp for the price!! This is very bright and has many different settings. The light scattering shield is a great addition, so you don't just have a small focused beam. I highly recommend this product!
