Product Highlights

Lightweight, compact and easy to use, the Petzl Tikka 2 headlamp is an ideal option for hikers, climbers, spelunkers, runners and anyone in need of hands-free illumination. Four LED bulbs produce a strong beam of light while providing a burn time of up to 120 hours!

A large electronic push-button makes the Tikka 2 ultra easy to operate. The four LED bulbs produce a maximum brightness of 40 Lumens, sufficient to cast light over 90 feet. A second economic setting decreases the length of the beam, but increases burn time from 90 to 120 hours. A third setting produces a flashing, strobe light for emergency signaling. A hinge on the housing of the lamp enables you to aim the beam where you need it most.

The Tikka 2 is powered by three Alkaline AAA batteries (included). With batteries, the Tikka weighs 2.86 ounces. To further reduce weight and allow for better performance at lower temperatures, the Tikka 2 is also compatible with lithium batteries (sold separately).

Water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use, the Petzl Tikka 2 includes a comfortable, adjustable elastic headband and is available in your choice of colors.

Colors available: Blue, Gray, Violet

Petzl part numbers: E93 PB, E93 PG, E93 PV

  • Search by Keyword/Item # S. Worthington OH

Likes: Light weight, reliable, and batteries seem to last forever. I keep one in the car and one in the kitchen, instead of flashlights. They are handy in the backcountry, or working under the car or kitchen sink!

Dislikes: My wife thinks I look funny walking around with my headlamp on, while doing my chores.

  • . San Diego CA

Likes: Lamp is plenty bright, has two brightness settings, and has the tilt feature which is great. Also comes in three different colors which makes it easier to keep track of whose lamp is whose.

Dislikes: Maybe one more brightness setting would be nice.

  • Stacy G. Plant City FL

Likes: Very bright LED light. I like the three different settings. Lightweight. Comfortable and easily adjustable to fit on your head. I can't wait to use this on my Appalachian Trail Thru Hike this year!

    Dislikes: I have no complaints.

  • Michael I. Pennsburg PA

Likes: Bright, lightweight, and long lasting battery life make this light a no brainer.

Dislikes: Not as many lighting options as the XP, but for half the price, I can't complain.

  • Joel F. Cuyahoga Falls OH

Likes: Battery life seems like an eternity, the 3 settings are a bit much, I usually use the dimmer of the two stream settings, honestly never even used the strobe setting. Highly adjustable strap is actually very comfortable for being so light.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • Shawn B. Vancouver WA

Likes: Very nice light - lightweight and good battery life. I bought it for hunting but have found many other uses for it around the house.

Dislikes: I would like to have the light a little brighter.

  • Ahmad Nazmi M. State College PA

Likes: Took out for Geology camp. Worked pretty well though easily dwarfed by other more prominent headlamps. Decent headlamp.

Dislikes: Drain the battery quite fast

  • Michael R. Idaho Falls ID

Likes: Light, Compact and very bright. Going to buy another for a spare.

    Dislikes: Not a thing.

  • Ashleigh B. West Columbia SC

Likes: The best headlamp for the best price. very bright, cool colors!

Dislikes: just a tad bit heavier than I had thought, but only b/c you have to carry 3AAA batteries in it. Love it otherwise!
