With its four LED bulbs, three lighting levels and red filter cap, the Petzl Tactikka Plus is a multi-dimensional headlamp that is suitable for hiking, climbing, caving, sailing or any number of activities that require reliable lighting while maintaining night vision.
A large toggle switch makes the Tactikka Plus easy to operate. The four LED bulbs produce a maximum brightness of 35 Lumens, sufficient to cast light up to 105 feet. Two additional settings allow you to regulate the length of the beam, increasing efficiency and burn time in the process. The lowest, most economical setting on the Tactikka Plus throws a beam of 49.2 feet and increases burn time to 150 hours. A fourth setting produces a strobe light for emergency signaling. A hinge on the housing of the lamp enables you to aim the beam where you need it most. In addition, a flip-down red filter cap allows the Tactikka Plus to provide illumination without diminishing your night vision when the light is turned off.
A comfortable, elastic headband allows the Tactikka Plus to adjust to fit varied head sizes. The Tactikka Plus is powered by three Alkaline AAA batteries (included). With batteries, the Tactikka Plus weighs a mere 2.75 ounces.
The Petzl Tactikka Plus is water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use.
