New for 2009! Constructed of waterproof Cordura and 50D ripstop Ventia, Outdoor Research Salamander Gaiters are built for hikers, backpackers or climbers encountering wet weather on approach hikes. A molded boot section and extended sidewalls keep your footwear dry even in torrential downpours and soggy bushwhacking. Taped seams further bolster waterproof protection.
A hook/loop rear-entry closure and elastic top edge keep Salamander Gaiters securely in place. A urethane-coated nylon instep strap provides further stability. A hook/loop shear tab at the top and bottom of the rear closure prevents separation.
Sold in pairs, Outdoor Research Salamander Gaiters are available in S/M (US men’s boot size 4-9) and L/XL (8-13) sizes.
