Designed for spending all day or all week in the backcountry, Outdoor Research Men’s Arete Gloves combine GORE-TEX weather protection with a removable fleece liner glove in a waterproof system designed for cold weather comfort and versatility.
Men’s Arete Gloves use GORE-TEX materials combined with soft shell stretch fabrics at the back of the hand for an excellent fit and serious weather protection. The wrap-around palm is made from a synthetic material that cannot absorb water, creating improved grip in heavy, wet snowfall. Pre-curved construction in the outer shell makes it easier to grasp poles or tools while wearing Men’s Arete Gloves.
Removable liner gloves are made from 100-weight fleece with a silicon printed palm for increased grip. Pockets at the back of the hands on the liner gloves are designed to secure heat pockets (sold separately) on really cold days and a gauntlet closure keeps snow and spindrift from entering the cuff of the glove.
