Updated for 2009! Consisting of a waterproof, breathable shell and an insulated, removable liner, Outdoor Research Men’s Alti Mitts are among the warmest expedition mitts available. Men’s Alti Mitts are built to tackle 8000 meter peaks, Arctic expeditions and extreme conditions.
Both the waterproof shells and the removable liners have fleece on the interior of the palms and insulation on the back of the hands. The fleece on the palms offers crush-resistant warmth while the Primaloft One insulation offers warmth and compressibility. Pittars Armortan leather construction on the exterior of the palms provides excellent grip even in the worst of conditions. Boxed construction and an anatomical pre-curve make Men’s Alti Mitts comfortable to wear and grip-friendly. Elasticized wrists improve fit and comfort.
Fully seam taped and constructed of waterproof/breathable ripstop GORE-TEX fabric, Men’s Alti mitts are truly weatherproof. Integrated DuoCinch gauntlet closures further ensure that cold and moisture are unable to reach your hands.
