A long-standing award-winner, Outdoor Research Men's Crocodiles gaiters can be found deep in the backcountry and on alpine peaks all over the planet. With a fitted design and durable, waterproof fabrics, Men's Crocodiles are trustworthy companions for extreme adventures.
The leg sections of Men's Crocodiles are made of waterproof, breathable 70D Taslan Gore-Tex fabric while the workhorse boot section is constructed of 1000D Cordura with packcloth lining. The top closures employ 3/4 inch-wide webbing and cam buckles. Double-needle stitching on the front hook/loop closure increases durability. A rugged urethane-coated nylon instep strap provides further stability and allows Men's Crocodiles to be worn over leather hiking boots or plastic mountaineering boots.
Sold in pairs, Outdoor Research Men's Crocodiles gaiters are available in S (US men's shoe size 4-7), M (6-9), L (8-11), XL (10-13) and XXL (12-15) sizes.

Likes: I use this gaiter on the snowshoe camping trip to Yosemite. It kept my shoes dry and warm. My shoes are size 8. The M fits perfectly. I highly recommend it.
Dislikes: Really nothing I do not like.

Likes: Finally bought a new pair. Had the old ones for several years. Used them ice climbing and mountaineering on countless trips. These are the gold standard for mountaineering gaiters.
Dislikes: Pricey but worth it.

Likes: I use them primarily for snowshoeing. The gaiters are durable and fit well. The velcro appears very strong. Front side velcro is a plus for putting them on. They would probably be way too warm for summer use, but I did not buy them for that.
Dislikes: A bit pricey, but they should last a long time. The extra velcro flap at the bottom is welcome as a extra durability, security feature, but does fight me a bit by flipping over onto the main velcro when I am putting them on. If I become too unhappy with, snip, snip with pair of scissors and it is gone.
