Designed for performance-demanding adventure travelers who really need their luggage to serve double-duty as a fully functional backpack, the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack delivers load-carrying capability, over 5000 cubic inches of storage capacity, an array of features and the customized fit for which Osprey is renowned.

Constantly striving to enhance comfort and performance, Osprey has equipped the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack with a fully-featured suspension system. In expectation of comfortably carrying loads of up to 60 pounds, the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack employs a LightWire frame and an Airscape backpanel to grant strength and stability. This design enhances balance by effectively distributing weight. The textured backpanel and integrated harness maximize comfort and help to reduce heat build-up between the pack and your back. Further enhancing fit, the padded hipbelt utilizes an ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments. Each of two available sizes of the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack offers torso adjustability. The M accommodates torso lengths ranging from 18" to 20.5" and the L is designed for torso lengths that exceed 20". When checking the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack at the airport or the train station, you can safely tuck the harness and hipbelt behind an integrated zippered security panel to ensure that your pack stows safely.

Both sizes of the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack offer ample room for carrying clothes and gear. The M Waypoint 85 Men’s pack provides 5100 cubic inches of storage capacity and the L has a 5300 cubic inch capacity. The main packbag is accessed by a wide-opening front panel zipper. A large, zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the front panel is ideal for separating and organizing clothes and gear. A zippered interior mesh side pocket offers an additional storage option and internal compression straps allow you to safely secure the contents of the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack. Stretch-woven side pockets keep water bottles and other gear close at hand. A lower, zippered access point serves as storage space for a sleeping bag and integrated, removable straps are strategically placed to haul a sleeping pad.

A large pocket on the front of the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack can be detached entirely for use as a fully functional day pack. Integrated shoulder straps and a padded backpanel provide stability and comfort. An adjustable sternum strap further enhances fit. The day pack has zippered panel access, as well as a large front pocket. Dual zippered side pockets offer additional storage options. After a day of adventure, the pack safely and securely zippers and clips back onto the front of the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack.

Other special features of the Waypoint 85 Men’s pack include external gear attachment points, dual ice axe loops and a sternum strap buckle that doubles as a safety whistle.
