Product Highlights

Ideal for a full day of hiking or fast-packing overnights, the sleek, top-loading Osprey Stratos 36 combines carrying comfort, ventilation and organizational features for technical performance.

Employing Osprey's Airspeed Suspension, the Stratos 36's stretch mesh backpanel provides flexible support and breathability to combat heat build-up between your back and the pack body. Both the hipbelt and harness straps are padded and covered in mesh to enhance comfort and optimize fit. An adjustable sternum strap further optimizes fit. Side compression straps allow you to cinch down the Stratos 36 to keep contents safely in place and aid in load control.

The storage capacity of the Medium Stratos 36 is 2200 cubic inches and the capacity of the Large is 2300 cubic inches. In addition to the top access, the main packbag can be reached through a front panel entry. A large front zippered pocket, two side stretch pockets and dual pockets in the lid of the Stratos 36 offer additional organizational options. A streamlined pocket on the shoulder strap and zippered stretch mesh pockets on the hipbelt keep snacks, gels or electronics close at hand.

Other features found on the Stratos 36 include a single ice axe/trekking pole attachment and an integrated rain cover. A lined internal sleeve and drinking tube pass-throughs make the Stratos 36 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.

The Osprey Stratos 36 is available in your choice of size and color options.

Likes: Great pack! Plenty big to haul normal gear and photography equipment for day or weekend trips. More importantly, I was very impressed with fit and comfort. The suspension design is great, and it never felt like I was carrying a heavy pack. Definitely recommend for the price and comfort.

Likes: Love this pack. Got about ten days in with it after ordering last fall. Typically used in high alpine day hikes with substantial elevation gains. If loaded properly the pack is super comfortable even with a considerable amount of weight. Potential for an overnight pack if traveling light. My favorite pack thus far. Worth a little extra change.

    Dislikes: ummmmm, no dislikes
