Product Highlights
New for 2013! Ideal for long days of hiking or mountain biking, the Osprey Mira 26 Women’s hydration pack provides ample storage (1465+ cubic inches), boasts excellent organizational and carry features and houses an integrated 3-Liter hydration system. No longer do you need to settle for an ill-fitting pack in order to stay hydrated.
Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance, Osprey equips its women's packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collar bone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women's specific cant and a narrower cut, the hipbelts found on Osprey's women's packs also cater to female users.
Unlike traditional hydration bladders, the Osprey Hydraulics reservoir has its own direct-welded “backpanel” that minimizes "barreling" by maintaining a more anatomical shape. Nestled within its own dedicated, externally-accessed compartment, the reservoir is locked securely in place, reducing the sloshing effect that many hydration pack users have come to accept as a necessary evil. An anti-microbial treatment prevents mold and bacteria from building up inside the reservoir.
A LightWire peripheral frame combines with a molded foam backpanel to provide load-carrying strength, stability and comfort. Built-in ventilation promotes airflow and reduces heat build-up between the pack and your body. The padded BioStretch harness and hipbelt offer a secure fit that mirrors your movements during aerobic activities. Drawing tension along the top and bottom of the hipbelt, the ErgoPull closure allows convenient on-the-go adjustment. An adjustable and elastic sternum strap further ensures a stable fit and its magnetic hose attachment strategically secures the hydration system's bite valve. The XSmall/Small Mira 26 Women’s pack fits torso lengths ranging from 15”-18" and the Small/Medium size fits torsos ranging from 17”-20" in length. Side compression straps allow you to cinch down the packbag to keep contents safely in place and aid in load control.
The storage capacity of the XSmall/Small Mira 26 Women’s pack is 1465 cubic inches and the Small/Medium is 1587 cubic inches. Dual, zippered front pockets allow you to organize gear and a sizable, stretch woven front “shove-it" pocket allows you to keep extra layers close at hand. Zippered pockets on the hipbelt offer quick-and-easy access to energy gels, valuables and other small items. Other features found on the Manta 28 include a lined, zippered sunglasses pocket, a safety light attachment point and an integrated rain cover to protect the pack in inclement weather.
