Product Highlights

With an integrated ski/snowboard carry system, wet and dry gear organization and an array of cold-weather features, the Osprey Kode 30 has everything you need for a full day of winter adventure. Durable construction, over 1600 cubic inches of storage capacity and additional activity-specific features make the Kode 30 ideal for backcountry skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or cold-weather hiking.

The Kode 30's layered, ergonomic backpanel provides a comfortable fit while effectively shedding snow. An HDPE framesheet provides structural support without adding a lot of weight. EVA foam padding on the fixed harness and adjustable hipbelt increase comfort and aid in stability. The hipbelt further enhances fit by using Osprey's ErgoPull closure, drawing tension along the top and the bottom of the belt. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments. To make certain that all users are appropriately accommodated, the Kode 30 is available in three different sizes. The Small fits torsos less than accommodates torsos less than 18.5" in length, the Medium covers torso lengths ranging from 18"-20.5" and the Large is designed for torso lengths that exceed 20".

There are numerous attachment points on the Kode 30 that make it easy to carry all your winter gear. An upper V-style compression system secures skis or snowboards. A diagonal carry does the same and also doubles as compression for the lower packbag. Lower reinforced loops also provide an A-frame ski carry option. There is an integrated external ice axe loop as well as dedicated internal pockets for stowing shovel handles, probes and goggles.

The panel-loading Kode 30 has ample storage and includes front panel access to a "wet" pocket and also convenient backpanel entry to a large "dry" pocket. The ability to keep gear effectively separated is a standout feature for backcountry use. A built-in helmet carry can be stowed away entirely when not needed. An internal sleeve with a hose housing that is insulated within the shoulder strap makes the Kode 30 all-season hydration system (sold separately) compatible.

The Osprey Kode 30 snowsport pack is available in your choice of color and size.
