Updated for 2009! A feature-rich option for technical dayhiking, the Osprey Aura 35 Women’s pack combines both durability and lightweight performance for female hikers. A redesigned backpanel improves upon the trail-tested load-carrying capability of the Aura 35 Women’s pack.

Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance, Osprey equips its women’s packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collar bone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women’s specific cant and a narrower cut, the hipbelts found on Osprey’s women’s packs also cater to female users.

Osprey's AirSpeed Suspension system equips the Aura 35 Women’s pack with weight-carrying efficiency and breathability. A lightweight aluminum frame works in tandem with twin titanium struts and a 3D tensioned backpanel to provide the ultimate in support, weight distribution, flexibility and comfort. Thermoformed and perforated waffle foam is used in the harness and hipbelt to further combat heat build-up. The hipbelt further enhances fit by using Osprey's ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments. To make certain that hikers get the ideal fit, the Aura 35 Women’s pack is available in three different sizes. The S Aura 35 Women's pack accommodates torsos less than 18.5" in lengths, the M accommodates torso lengths ranging from 18"-20.5" and the L is designed for torso lengths that exceed 20".

Designed to comfortably carry 20-30 pounds of gear, the Aura 35 Women’s pack lends versatility for fast-moving day hikes, light-packing over-nights or everyday around-town use. The S Aura 35 Women’s pack offers 1900 cubic inches of storage capacity and the M and L sizes offer 2100 and 2300 cubic inches, respectively. The panel-loading packbag of the Aura 35 Women’s pack is accessed via a wide-opening front zipper. A welded, stretch woven Nylon pocket on the front of the pack allows you to stash extra layers or other gear. A zippered top pocket offers an additional storage option. Side compression straps help you cinch down your load and also serve as lash points for additional gear. Stretch woven side pockets are the perfect place for stashing water bottles or other smaller items.

Other features found on the Aura 35 Women’s pack include integrated trekking pole loops and removable straps located in front of the pack that securely stow sleeping pads. An internal lined sleeve and dual exit ports combine to make the Aura 35 Women’s pack hydration compatible. Zippered mesh pockets on the hipbelt keep snacks and essential items in easy reach.
