Constantly striving to enhance comfort and performance, Osprey has equipped the Ariel 65 Women's pack with the ground-breaking AirScape suspension system. An HDPE framesheet with a single lightweight aluminum stay works in tandem with peripheral aluminum stabilizer rods to grant strength and stability to the Ariel 65 Women's pack. This design ensures your balance by effectively distributing weight. A textured, foam backpanel and IsoForm harness maximize comfort and help to reduce heat build-up between your back and the pack. Further enhancing fit, the revolutionary IsoForm CM hipbelt utilizes an ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments. Each of three available sizes of the Ariel 65 Women's pack offers torso adjustability. The SM accommodates torsos less than 18.5" in lengths, the MD accommodates torso lengths ranging from 18"-20.5" and the LG is designed for torso lengths that exceed 20".

To guarantee that the Ariel 65 Women's pack fits like a glove, Osprey offers swappable gender-specific IsoForm hipbelts and shoulder harnesses. The Women's XS hipbelt fits waists smaller than 28", the Women's SM hipbelt fits waists ranging from 27"-31", the Women's MD hipbelt fits waists ranging from 30"-34" and the Women's LG hipbelt fits waists ranging from 33"-37". For most backpackers, the shoulder harness size should match the pack size, but for those with wider or narrower shoulders, additional sizes are available. The Ariel 65 Women's IsoForm harness is available in Women's SM, MD, LG and XL sizes. Each size provides a vertical adjustability of 2"-3".

Designed to comfortably carry 50-65 pounds of gear, the Ariel 65 Women's pack is available in three sizes. The SM Ariel 65 Women's offers 3800 cubic inches of storage capacity and the MD and LG sizes offer 4000 and 4200 cubic inches, respectively. The packbag is top-loading, but a sleeping bag compartment offers lower, front access. A front pocket utilizes welded stretch woven Nylon with Lycra fabric to serve as a convenient storage spot for layers of clothing or other gear. Stretch woven side pockets are the perfect place for stashing water bottles or other smaller items. Side compression straps enables you to cinch down your pack to keep contents safely and securely in place and also double as lash points for additional gear. Buckled straps that pass over the front of the packbag are designed to further enhance the compressibility of the Ariel 65 Women's pack and provide yet another place to stow gear.

Other features found on the Ariel 65 Women's pack include integrated trekking pole loops and a top lid that is removable for use as a lumbar pack. Removable straps located in front of the sleeping bag compartment securely stow sleeping pads. An internal lined sleeve and dual exit ports combine to make the Ariel 65 Women's pack hydration compatible.
