Constantly striving to enhance comfort and performance, Osprey has equipped the Argon 70 with a ground-breaking suspension system. An HDPE framesheet with a single lightweight aluminum stay works in tandem with two aluminum ReCurve rods to grant strength and stability to the Argon 70. This design ensures your balance by effectively distributing weight. Osprey's foam AirScape backpanel and dual density foam harness with strategic soft cutouts maximize comfort and help to reduce heat build-up between your back and the pack. Further enhancing fit, the revolutionary BioForm CM A/X hipbelt utilizes an ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt with split support wings. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments. Each of three available sizes of the Argon 70 offers torso adjustability. The MD accommodates torso lengths ranging from 18"-20.5", the LG accommodates torso lengths ranging from 20"-22.5" and the XL is designed for torso lengths that exceed 22".

To guarantee that the Argon 70 fits like a glove, Osprey offers swappable hipbelts and shoulder harnesses. The SM hipbelt fits waists ranging from 27"-31", the MD hipbelt fits waists ranging from 30"-34", the LG hipbelt fits waists ranging from 33"-37" and the XL hipbelt is designed for waists larger than 36". For most backpackers, the shoulder harness size should match the pack size, but for those with wider or narrower shoulders, additional sizes are available. The Argon 70's BioForm harness is available in SM, MD, LG and XL sizes. Each size provides a vertical adjustability of 2"-3".

The main packbag of the Argon 70 is designed to comfortably carry 50-70 pounds of gear! The SM Argon 70 offers 4300 cubic inches of storage capacity and the MD and LG sizes offer 4500 and 4700 cubic inches, respectively. The packbag has full top access, but can also be reached via a zippered vertical access point. A lower sleeping bag compartment has a wide zippered mouth for easy packing and unpacking. A large, zippered side pocket offers an additional organizational option. Stretch woven Nylon with Lycra fabric on the side of the packs allows you to stash water bottles, or other gear. Osprey's StraightJacket compression system enables you to cinch down your pack to keep contents safely and securely in place. Multiple compression straps also serve as lash points for additional gear.

The versatility of the Argon 70 is greatly increased by two convenient built-in features. A 40d Sil Nylon AquaSource pocket makes the Argon 70 hydration compatible. This pocket can even be removed and thanks to integrated padstraps, can be used with a reservoir (sold separately) as an independent hydration pack! The Argon 70's adjustable lid can also be removed for use as a lumbar pack.

Constructed of rugged, durable 315D Cordura High Tenacity Nylon and 210D x 330D High Tenacity Nylon, the Osprey Argon 70 is available in your choice of Mustard, Kelp and Delta color options.
