Back in the late 1970's, trekker Nick Brown invented his first Nikwax product, an effective, non-softening waterproofing wax for leather boots. It was so effective, in fact, that Nick decided to investigate the possibility of creating additional products that utilized Nick's wax recipe. First produced in a London squat, Nikwax is now an international corporation, selling environmentally-friendly waterproofing and cleaning products for high performance footwear, gear and apparel.
