Updated for 2014! Combining lightweight construction, rugged durability and reliable insulation, the NEMO Zor self-inflating sleeping pad is well designed for minimalist backpacking in all seasons.
Unlike most lightweight, self-inflating sleeping pads that utilize cutouts in their internal foam to reduce mass, the Zor uses vertical and horizontal coring to decrease the amount of heat that is lost through the pad. This unique design keeps weight under a pound (for the 20 Regular and 20 Small sizes) and packed size to a minimum while still providing more than adequate insulation and simple self-inflation.
The self-inflating foam core makes the Zor incredibly easy to use; just unroll the pad and open the valve. Open-celled foam responds by soaking up air, similar to the way in which a sponge absorbs liquid. Once the Zor has had time to inflate, you can adjust firmness by manually adding or releasing air before re-tightening the valve.
The NEMO Zor self-inflating sleeping pad is available in 20 Small (48" x 20"), 20 Regular (72" x 20") and 25 Long (76" x 25") size options. Note that the Long size is rectangular in shape, while the other sizes have a tapering mummy shape. All Zor pads come with a stuff sack, compression strap and repair patches.
