Utilizing lightweight design in every feature and detail, the NEMO Obi 2P 3-Season Backpacking Tent offers fast-paced, minimalist backpackers a weatherproof shelter with a sturdy structure at a significant weight savings. The Obi 2P's low profile helps shed wind and water during bad weather and the full mesh canopy offers good ventilation in warmer weather.
Two large doors with side-entry design make entering and exiting the tent easier on the body and create easier access for two people. Dual vestibules provide better coverage from the rain. A raised, waterproof bathtub floor allows cutouts in the fly to save significant weight while improving the ventilation of the Obi 2P. An internal storage pocket provides a place to stow small items and a light pocket disperses light from your headlamp to cast an even glow over the whole tent.
A single pole design with pole hubs at the front and rear of the tent allow multiple poles to intersect at a single point, creating a unique pole architecture with free-standing support and minimized weight. NEMO has moved the front pole hub overhead which gives the pole design shoulders that help to create more interior volume without the need for an additional ridge pole.
NEMO's On-the-fly configuration, created by use of only the fly, poles and footprint (sold separately), lets you travel with an even lighter, tarp-style shelter. The NEMO Obi 2P comes with a dry bag-style storage sack and a repair kit.
