Likes: Easy to use, and the water was great. I was shocked at how clean it got some pretty murky water.

Dislikes: Nothing.

Review Date: 2/26/2010

Likes: This was a replacement purchase, as I have owned this product for at least five years. I regularly hike the Grand Canyon. I've been in many situations in which water was questionable at best and this filter has never let me down.

Dislikes: Not sure how you could make it lighter, but I have yet to find a lighter filter that performs like the MiniWorks EX Mictrofilter.

Likes: Easy to use and maintain. I like how it attaches directly to my MSR hydration bladder or a wide mouth Nalgene bottle.

Dislikes: Nothing

Review Date: 8/31/2009

Likes: Produces very clean and tasty water. It easily packs away in my pack's side pouch and assembles quickly. The filter also cleans easily.

Dislikes: It takes some physical effort and time to produce a large volume of water. In order to fill two 1.5 L bottles and one 3 L bladder takes about 10 minutes of steady pumping.

Likes: filter was easy to use and clean. felt sturdy. not a lot of parts to break or misplace. pumped out of a lake that was kind of green hade to clean filter once only took minutes and was back making water. a stream i think is better we pumped out of a stream and had no proplems with it clogging. did not take long to make water and it tasted great.

Dislikes: cant say anything bad.

Likes: Took it on the trail for the first time last weekend and decided to try it. Works great! The taste of the water was very surprising, it was better than out of the tap at home. Yet another excellent product from MSR.

Dislikes: No issues/cons

Likes: Only used it on one outing so far, but easy to use, easy to maintain, easy to field strip if necessary. Seems to be a great product so far.

Dislikes: Seems to be a little on the heavy side, but its the only filter Ive ever owned, so I dont have anything to compare it to.
