Ideal for flat and rolling winter terrain, MSR Lightning Women's snowshoes feature a revolutionary Total Traction Frame that serves double duty by lending structure and providing a perimeter with 360 degree traction. Designed specifically for women, these snowshoes offer unsurpassed traction that becomes especially important on hard packed snow and icy surfaces.

MSR partnered with an orthopedic gait specialist to design Lightning Women's snowshoes, tuning them specifically for a women's stride. The result is a more sculpted frame and more taper for a more comfortable and natural gait.

Lightning Women's snowshoes are extremely lightweight, allowing you to walk more easily and naturally than you would in most traditional snowshoes. The frame is constructed from one vertical blade of aerospace-quality aluminum supported by two cross members of high-strength steel. The urethane decking is fastened at 18 attachment points for an extra measure of durability, even in the unlikely event of a tear-out.

The bindings of Lightning Women's snowshoes utilize a step-on molded urethane design with speed-hook buckles that open to fit a variety of boots.

Lightning Women's snowshoes are available in two sizes. The general load range of both Lightning Women's-22 and Lightning Women's-25 snowshoes is 150-225 lbs.
