Likes: The tail extensions are a very sensible and useful addition. They allowed me to buy the 25" Lightning Ascents rather than the 30" and still not have to worry about flotation. They're easy to install and remove, but once on, they stay put. I probably will never take them off, but it's good to know that if I find myself in a very narrow, twisting, obstacle-filled path, I can instantly make my shoes 5" shorter.
