Product Highlights

The MSR Hubba Hubba NX is the lighter weight next generation of MSR's highly acclaimed Hubba Hubba tent. Designed for two backpackers, the freestanding Hubba Hubba NX weighs 3 pounds, 7 ounces.

The unique pole configuration of the Hubba Hubba NX provides 29 square feet of interior space and a full 39 inches of interior height for maximum livability. Strong and supportive, the DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum poles are extremely lightweight. 6 MSR MiniGroundhog stakes are included to aid in securing the freestanding Hubba Hubba NX. Dual vestibules offer a combined 17.5 square feet of additional protected storage space.

Extensive mesh construction keeps weight to a minimum while maximizing ventilation. The Hubba Hubba NX is extremely breathable, which increases livability and combats the build-up of condensation on the interior of the tent. In warm, clear weather, you can tie back the exterior doors to allow even greater airflow. MSR's StayDry design prevents roof run-off from dripping into the interior of the tent when the fly is open.

The Hubba Hubba NX employs taped seams on the bathtub style floor and Durashield coating on the rainfly to prevent leaks. The stress points are reinforced to prevent tear-outs, and the guy lines are reflective to help you find your way back to your tent in the dark.

If you prefer to travel even lighter, the Hubba Hubba NX rainfly can be used alone or in tandem with an optional footprint (sold separately), making the Hubba Hubba NX a feather-light freestanding minimalist shelter.

Two guy cords, 2 aluminum cord adjusters and a compression stuff sack with pull handle are included.

Likes: I haven't used it yet, but from the looks it's super well made. Easy to setup with color coding. It's lightweight and packs small so 1 person can carry the entire tent vs. the hassle of distributing / collecting parts among 2 people.

Dislikes: The light gray color of the fabric. Afraid that it'll get dirty in rain / muddy weather. And I wish it came with the fly, for the price.

    Likes: Perfect tent!

Was able to easily (also comfortably) fit all of my gear inside.....slept well!

There was a bit of moisture in the mornings but I did have the rain fly on. Not a big deal at all.

    Dislikes: No issues.

Likes: I had the opportunity to borrow this tent from a buddy of mine for a 3 night overnighter in emmigrant wilderness. After hauling around a heavyweight 4 person tent for so long, the lighter weight made a big difference. Tent set up was easy, condensation wasn't a problem (though it was pretty dry at the time), and the tent still seemed spacious, even coming from my larger tent. I've recently ordered my own and look forward to future adventures.

Dislikes: Footprint had to be ordered separately.
