New for 2008! Building on the award-winning design of the MSR Hubba Hubba, the new MSR Hubba Hubba HP offers increased protection against wet weather and cold temperatures. Without compromising the ultra-lightweight design of its Hubba series, MSR has given backpackers greater versatility for 3+ season use.

The unique pole configuration of the 2-person Hubba Hubba HP provides 29 square feet of interior space and a full 40 inches of interior height for maximum livability. Strong and supportive, DAC NSL aluminum poles are extremely lightweight. Dependable MSR Ultralight Needle Stakes are included to aid in securing the freestanding Hubba Hubba HP. Dual vestibules offer a combined 17.5 square feet of additional protected storage space. The dual entrances of the Hubba Hubba HP feature a stay-dry design that prevents roof run-off from dripping into the interior of the tent when the fly is open.

By swapping much of the mesh found on the classic Hubba series for ripstop nylon, MSR has equipped the Hubba Hubba HP for better performance in snow, sand and wind. Like other MSR Fast & Light tents, the Hubba Hubba HP employs taped seams on the floor and rainfly to prevent leaks. Welded reinforcements at the stress points further prevent tear-outs and increased weatherproofing on the floor of the Hubba Hubba HP provides greater protection against the elements. The guy lines are reflective to help you find your way back to your tent in the dark.

Despite its rugged construction, the Hubba Hubba HP weighs a mere 3 lb 11 oz.! If, however, you prefer to travel even lighter, the Hubba Hubba HP rainfly can be used alone or in tandem with the optional footprint (sold separately), making the Hubba HP a feather-light freestanding minimalist shelter.
