Likes: Great holding power. Aluminum is very strong and holds up to a beating from rocky soil.
Dislikes: I liked everything about the product.

Likes: Light weight, sturdy stakes that hold. You may find some a bit lighter, but these are great. Never had one fail. I find myself driving them into the ground with rocks often and they have always performed well. No problems with bending.

Likes: As advertised.

Likes: These stakes are far superior to the stakes included with my tent. I have used them in the Rocky Mountains and the Guadalupe mountains and have not been disappointed. Each time I have used them there has been strong winds and these stakes held firm. I will make sure all of my tents have these as their primary anchor. The weight is light and storage is easy.

Likes: The best stakes I have ever owned, just trying to figure out if there is much of a difference with these and the mini groundhogs (I have both)
Dislikes: Wish there was a little more material on top for ease of inserting into the ground.

Likes: Easy to use, solid tent stake, did not bend
Dislikes: The top of the stake could be a hazard for small children. Very hard and sharp edges
– Wildomar CA
Likes: The ground was so hard I had to use a big rock to pound the stakes in. They didn't bend!

Likes: The length has to be a plus and the bright red color makes them easier to see.The pull cord on the top makes for fast extraction and of course being aluminum means lightest in the pack.Must advice the use of a plastic or rawhide mallet as opposes to a steel hammer if you want to keep this stake from mushrooming over time.
Dislikes: 10 stakes, instead of 8 for the money!
– Columbus OH
Likes: Held well in loose soil; very light weight; reflective pull cord 'neat'
Dislikes: 2 of the 8 pack broke on first use, MSR replaced no questions asked.
– Vancouver WA
Likes: Light and strong. Nice reflective loops as well.
– Richland WA
Likes: Very strong easy to put into ground.
– Somerville MA
Likes: Light weight yet substantial; easy to push into the ground, but stays put.
Dislikes: They come tied to a piece of cardboard, a bag might be nice to have.
