Mountainsmith first introduced the country to lumbar packs back in 1982 with the classic Tour and Day designs. Mountainsmith's original concept is so solid that the Tour and Day remain outrageously popular even today.

The Mountainsmith Tour lumbar pack comes loaded with great features. The wide wrap-around style waistbelt with the Delta Compression System incorporates triangulated straps to compress weight into the lumbar region for a stable, evenly distributed load. The waistbelt is lined with an airmesh stretch fabric so the belt stays comfortable even on hot days. The lumbar support is padded with EVA foam.

The Tour features 3 compartments and 2 pockets for organization. Inside the main compartment, there's a zippered valuables pocket. The front compartment features a key ring hook on the inside. On each side of the Tour lumbar pack, there are mesh pockets with an adjustable bungee closure that accommodate 32 oz. water bottles. There's also an adjustable bungee on the front for holding a jacket, sweatshirt or rain gear.
