Likes: Good, inexpensive poles. No problems so far.

Likes: Performed exactly as intended. The wrist straps help out a lot. Worked great for the 20 mile adventure i just went on.

Dislikes: Almost useless with sweaty hands. Also, the "snap" lock feature only worked on 1 of the four poles i purchased. Finally, the pin holding the wrist strap in place falls out pretty easily. Will probably be returning.

Likes: I liked the price, the twist lock mechanism vs. external clamp, and the rubber tips that came with the poles.

Dislikes: I just couldn't get past the weight. I felt that over miles of hiking they would be very tiring and therefore have sent them back. But I feel that if that isn't a problem for you-I am older and its important to me at this point in my life-then these poles are a product with many great features for the price. Could be a great first pair.

Likes: These poles, though cheap work very well. The are well maid, and the cost didn't break my budget. The adjustment for pole length is easy to use, and there was no slip. The poles were well worth the cost. By the end of my 20 mile backpacking trip on the Appalachian trial, I was very glad that I had bought these poles.

Dislikes: The handles are made of a hard plastic that makes my hands sweat. I tried my buddies poles that had a better handles, and my hands did not sweat nearly as much. However considering the difference in cost, I like these poles just fine.

Likes: Perform as advertised: adjustable, sturdy, shock-absorbing. Not too expensive.

Dislikes: On making initial adjustment, pole separated at spring section -- difficult to put back together.

Likes: Saved my fanny coming off Whitney! For the money, worth the price.

Dislikes: Again, "You get what you pay for!" The poles were difficult to work with when needing to the adjust length.

Likes: These trekking poles were perfect for my two sons and I asd we just made the decision to try trekking poles for our next backpacking trip. They worked well and with the price significantly lower than other products were a good fit for us.

Dislikes: Always a fear that the rubber tips would get lost on the hike but so far no problems.

Likes: Very sturdy, well-built trekking poles with a good shock reduction system. They are fairly lite, especially for the price.

Dislikes: The twist lock system is more cumbersome than the flick-lock system on the Black Diamond poles, but for less than 1/2 the price I can deal with it.

Likes: I have now been able to use them several times and am really happy with the product! I wanted some walking poles but didn't want to spend so much money. These are a great solution! On longer hikes I did get a blister on one hand, but that was a steep hike. Like that they have a little spring action in them. Really great when you want to get your arms more involved, and save your knees. I would recommend these to any amateur backpacker like me who likes to hike around.

Dislikes: The rubber caps that are on the tips of the poles seem to come off easily, I probably should have been using the metal tips anyway for that type of hike. Almost lost one, but don't really need them for my usage.

Likes: After one use they seem like a solid pair of trekking poles. Like the wrist strap and the light weight.

Dislikes: Haven't used in warm weather but a bit worried about the plastic grips being a bit slick when perspiration gets on my hands.

Likes: Good entry level poles. A little heavier than other products on the market, but that isn't a big deal for me.

    Good value.

Dislikes: For the price, it is hard to say anything negative.

Likes: all in all these polls aren't bad. they do what they are supposed to. they help keep your balance on steep trails and take some of the stress off your knees which is why i bought them. the price is good too. i just couldn't bring myself to pay 70+ dollars for a glorified stick.

Dislikes: the plastic handles do get a bit slippery when you start to sweet. i also noticed that if your not careful you can get pinched by the wrist strap and the cut out where the strap is anchored but as long as your careful this isn't a big deal. once or twice i also had the pole collapse on me but i think i just needed to screw them down a little tighter then they seemed fine. so there not bad but there not the best eather but you get what you pay for.
