Likes: I have never owned high priced trekking poles and with poles like these, I probably never will! These poles adjust easily and securely. The shock absorbing is sufficient. They are sturdy and have a comfortable grip. They have helped me through miles and miles of varying terrain. They have performed very well and I am happy with this buy.

Dislikes: The only uncomfortable feature of these poles is the straps on the handles. Not a big deal though. This was the only thing I didn't like about the product.

Likes: I bought this for my dad so that we could go hiking together. It was our first time using the trekking poles. the poles were hard to adjust. One pole we couldn't get it to extend ...i believe it was broken. We didn't test it out before the hike, and it was last minute so we went hiking with one pole.

    Dislikes: Hard to adjust.

    Dislikes: nothing.

Likes: Easy to use/adjust. My son started snowshoeing with us and I quickly adjusted them for his height, because my non adjustable xc-ski poles were too tall for him.
Great price, Mountainsmith guarantee speaks for itself. I buy a lot of Mountainsmith products and will continue to do so.

Dislikes: There was nothing I didn't like about these poles.

    Likes: Length adjustment worked well.

Dislikes: The wrist straps are a little ackward but once you get used to them they are ok.
