Product Highlights

Made of lightweight 7075 aluminum, Mountainsmith Pyrite 7075 trekking poles are rugged enough for extreme expeditions, yet versatile enough for everyday use. Three adjusting sections offer a broad-range of height usability.

The Pyrite 7075’s molded cork and EVA foam grips are both soft and firm for a more comfortable handhold. Adjustable webbing/neoprene straps and an integrated anti-shock system help to minimize impact on your joints.

The carbide tips provide traction on ice and rock, and removable rubber boot tips are provided for off-trail use. The narrow profile hiking baskets can be removed quickly without tools and left at home or replaced with snow baskets (sold separately).

Sold in pairs, Mountainsmith Pyrite 7075 trekking poles expand to 54" (137 cm) and collapse to 26.5" (67 cm).

Likes: These are my first trekking poles, but I'm happy with them. Did a 5 mile "break in" hike today and they were helpful on the snowy/icy/muddy climbs - and even more on the descents! Locking mechanism held well, tips "bit" well and not too much, and the grips are comfortable.
